SunFire High Availability ZFS File Server

This SunFile X4100 Server configured with BSD UNIX based NAS4Free, is a redundant file server with automatic fail-over and a self healing, practically incorruptible file system is for small businesses that require a high I/O and 100% data integrity.

The hardware:

• These servers take full advantage of the low power utilization to performance ratio of the
  AMD Opteron processor. They include an extensive set of reliability, availability, and
  serviceability (RAS) features. The servers also provide a remote, integrated lights-out
  management (ILOM) service processor (SP) function, including remote boot and

  remote software upgrades

• Four Hot-Swappable 2.5″ Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disk drives
• Four Gig-E ports and a dedicated 100 Base-T management port
• Two redundant 550W power supplies

The software:

• Support sharing to Windows, Apple, and *NIX systems
• ZFS v28, disk encryption, S.M.A.R.T / email reports
